I will always have a wonderful story to tell because of the special day Mason was born- the one day out of the year to truly give THANKS. On Thanksgiving Eve around 11:00pm, my water suddenly broke. About 9 hours and an emergency c-section later, Mason Daniel Bailey arrived at 7:55 am, November 23rd, Thanksgiving morning. No turkey for me!!
Making his debut! Mason was named for my father who passed away almost exactly 2 years earlier. He was a member of the Free Masons and I wanted to honor his memory.
Although he was 2 weeks early, he was a healthy 6lbs 8oz. and 19 inches long
This was actually 2 days later when I was ready for taking pics! Mom and Mason- see the resembalance?!
